PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid level detecting apparatus capable of preventing corrosion and degradation of metal parts when immersed in an electrolytic solution and accurately detecting the liquid levels of automobiles which use ethanol and ethanol-blended gasoline as a fuel over a long period. SOLUTION: In the liquid level detecting apparatus 100, contacts 27 and 28 provided for a sliding body 13 slides over a resistance plate 12 while in contact according to displacements of a liquid level to detect the liquid level. A constituent member (contact spring) 26 of the slicing body 13 except the contacts 27 and 28 is made of a material having corrosion resistance to liquids. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
