Provided is a melting-kneading deaeration extruder, which is improved in the surface renewability of a molten material. The melting-kneading deaeration extruder equipped, in a surface-renewed area (18), with at least one surface-renewed screw segment (9) having a plurality of discs (10) arrayed at a phase angle (E) of 0 degrees < E < 90 degrees, i.e., a deviation angle between discs on the axis of a screw (14). The surface-renewed screw segment (9) has a gap (11), through which the individual discs (10) are arranged at intervals in the axial direction of the screw (14).
