The device has two rotation brush elements (1, 2) for cleaning a wheel exterior side and a wheel interior side turned towards a wheel suspension, respectively. A drive device (3) is provided for driving the rotation brush elements, and comprises a flexible drive train section formed by a flexible drive shaft (4). A rotation axis deflected around a range of 90 degrees is accomplished by the flexible drive train section. The drive device is designed as a low voltage motor.
