The final control element (10) has a selection and shifting mechanism driven by an actuator arrangement associated with input elements (12) of a gear-engagement and disengagement mechanism so as to operate it. The selection and shifting mechanism can be moved between several selection positions, each associated with at least one gear and preferably at least two gears of the same group of gears. Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) a motor vehicle drive train (b) an actuator arrangement for a multi-ratio gearbox (c) and a method of shifting a gearbox ratio. |
