<p>An array substrate of a liquid crystal display device and a method for fabricating the same are provided to prevent the contact failure by directly contacting electrodes to the side part. A gate line(120) having the gate pad(152) task and the gate electrode(125) extended in the gate wiring are comprised on a substrate. The gate line and a data line(130) define the pixel region(P) by being vertically crossed. A data pad(162) is included in the end. The source electrode(132) of U shape is extended from data line. A drain electrode(134) is comprised having a gap with the source electrode. A thin film transistor(T) is comprised at the crossing point of data line and gate line. A thin film transistor includes source and the drain electrode which is contacted with the semiconductor layer in which the gate electrode, and the gate electrode and a part are overlapped and is contacted with the above semiconductor layer and each other is separated.</p> |
