A housing for an underwater camcorder is provided to connect a backup controller to photograph an image normally even though a connection state of the camcorder is bad. A housing for an underwater camcorder comprises a case body and a cover(12). A plurality of button control boards(15) is protruded from the external side of the case body in a controller(5) for operating the camcorder(C). The button control boards can alternatively be used. A connecting jack electrically connects the camcorder. The connecting jack is installed in the case body. A light emitting diode is installed in a printed circuit board. A standby state of the camcorder and an operating mode(B1) of a button corresponding to recording are displayed.
