The device has a cutting device (4) for formation of cross sections and through holes in a metal foil (1) i.e. aluminum foil. The cutting device is formed by a roller (6) rotating around an axle (8) staying normal to a feeder of the foil and a counter roller (11) rotating around another axle of the roller, where the roller is provided with notches (7) projecting from a surface. The counter roller is formed from elastic material e.g. plastic or rubber, at an upper surface (12). The roller is realized by formation of a passage slot for the foil during cutting processes at the surface.
