<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ballpoint pen refill and a ball point pen which keeps ink color tone unchanged until ink is used up which can be visually recognized even though the inside of the ink storage tube can not be visually checked without increasing the number of times of refilling, being manufactured in a conventional method. <P>SOLUTION: An electron-donating color-developing organic compound α, an electron-receptive compound β, a microcapsule dye containing reversible thermal discoloring compound γ comprised of at least a reaction media which controls color-developing reactions of α and β are included in the ink stored in the ink storage tube which can not be visually recognized from the outside. The stored ink thermally changes its color from the first hue to the second hue, and has a liquid ink back flow prevention body in contact with the rear end thereof, the ink back flow prevention body being colored differently from the first hue and the second hue of the ink. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
