PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anode element for a solid-state electrolytic capacitor in which a sintered body element made of valve-action metal powder having a high CV value and a valve-action metal wire can be stably resistance-welded with high bonding strength, and to provide a manufacturing method thereof. SOLUTION: The anode element for the solid-state electrolytic capacitor is manufactured by forming a valve-action metal lump 6 which is higher in specific gravity than the sintered body element 1' and smaller than the valve-action metal wire 2, exposing a portion of the valve-action metal lump 6 in an electricity feed region 4 and a weld region 5 when pressure-forming the valve-action metal lump 6 and valve-action metal powder into a pressure-formed body 1, and feeding electricity from the valve-action metal lump 6 exposed in the electricity feed region 4 to the side of the sintered body element 1' to resistance-weld the valve-action metal wire 2 to the valve-action metal lump 6 exposed in the weld region 5.
