PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical spectrometer capable of highly accurately measuring color information of paper even in the case that an analyte such as paper is being transferred as flopping. SOLUTION: The optical spectrometer for measuring color information of reflected luminous flux of light irradiated to an analyte comprises a light source means for irradiating luminous flux to an analyte; an opening part on which reflected luminous flux from the analyte is made to be incident; a light-dispersing element for dispersing luminous flux incident from the opening part; and a photoelectric conversion element in which a plurality of light-receiving elements for receiving luminous flux dispersed by the light-dispersing element are arranged in a one-dimensional direction. The opening part is provided with a luminous intensity distribution control means for making incident on the light-dispersing element only luminous flux within degrees of parallelization±15°among reflected luminous flux from the analyte in a cross section including both the direction of arrangement of the light-receiving elements and the vertical direction of the light-receiving planes of the light-receiving elements.
