PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dishwasher, with two-stage dish baskets, comprising an upper basket set as a placement section for tableware such as glasses and cups, which is also usable as a placement section for large tableware such as plates. SOLUTION: The dishbaskets 3 are composed in integral constitution provided with a lower basket 31 for placement of tableware, and the upper basket 32 disposed above the lower basket. On the upper basket, a first and a second glass/cup stands 33 and 34 are disposed for tableware such as glasses and cups G1 and G2 to be set on. The glass/cup stands can be put down, so that by putting down the glass/cup stands, tableware having a large flat surface such as plates G5 can be placed on the upper basket without substantially interfering with the glass/cup stands. A plurality of rows of the glass/cup stands are composed to be capable of holding tableware such as glasses and cups at such a specified angle that washing water sprayed from an auxiliary nozzle 92 can easily reach them inside.
