PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide test equipment for testing bus for cars which can increase transmission capacity of its bus controller. SOLUTION: This test equipment 11 includes the bus controller 20, with a messaging memory 37 supplying transmission data 65 for bus messages and the intermediate memory 38, which has storage capacity 50 larger than that of the message memory 37 for storing the transmission data 65 for bus messages. The message memory 37 has memory capacity 48 for bus message sequence. Further the test equipment 11 includes transmission preparatory means 40, which reads out the transmission data 65 from the intermediate memory 38 and then writes them into the message memory 37 of the bus controller 20, prior to readout of the bus controller 20. Consequently, additional bus messages are transmitted by the bus controller 20 over the bus for cars 12 during transmission cycles 31 and 32 or transmission cycle sequence 33, and expanding the bus message sequence.
