Vertical clutch device for a timepiece

The clutch device has an upper and lower coaxial rotary mobile portion able to take up relative axial coupled position in which rotation of lower mobile portion give rise to rotation of upper mobile portion and a relative axial uncoupled position in which rotation of lower mobile portion does not give rise to rotation of upper mobile portion. A friction element made of viscoelastic material is intercalated between the upper and lower mobile portion (1) to transmit the rotation of lower mobile portion to upper mobile portion in the coupled position.
