<p>The present invention relates to a plasma display apparatus and a driving method thereof. According to embodiments of the present invention, the plasma display apparatus and the driving method thereof apply a driving pulse and a driving erasing voltage to an electrode when an alternating current power supply is blocked. The driving pulse and the driving erasing voltage have opposite polarities. On the basis of the embodiments of the present invention, an excessive state of an image quality due to e.g. a sustain pulse being applied while not being supplied with a sufficient level of voltage (Vs), which often appears after power supply is blocked, can be impaired, and a stable operation of the plasma display apparatus can be implemented.</p> |
