<p>In an elevator apparatus, a second car is disposed below a first car. The second car is suspended within a hoistway by a second suspension body and a third suspension body to be raised/lowered by a second hoisting machine. The second suspension body has a second car end connected to the second car on a first lateral surface side thereof. The third suspension body has a third car end connected to the second car on a second lateral surface side thereof. A looping angle adjusting pulley for increasing the looping angle of the second suspension body with respect to a second drive sheave is disposed in an upper portion of the hoistway.</p> |
