<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To build up a system for acquiring images from a camera at a remote spot controlled over a network to transmit image data and sound data located at separate positions on the network after coding both data by a relay server as images with sounds to a receiver. <P>SOLUTION: The information distribution system comprises: an image server 1-2 capable of transmitting image data; a sound server 1-3 capable of transmitting sound data; a relay server 1-1 for distributing information; and a client 1-9 for receiving the information distributed from the relay server 1-1. The relay server 1-1 receives image data from the image server 102 and sound data from the sound sever 1-3, combines the image data with the sound data, codes them as image data with sounds, and distributes them to the client 1-3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
