发明名称 Stacking device for bricks or the like
摘要 970,210. Stacking bricks. SUTCLIFFE, SPEAKMAN & CO. Ltd. Sept. 21, 1961 [Sept. 25, 1960; June 27, 1961], Nos. 26372/60 and 23306/61. Heading B8A. Bricks, Fig. 2, are discharged from press table B by an off loader A on to a belt C. The belt C delivers the bricks in rows to a grab D which removes them from the belt and discharges them on to a trolley E (not shown). Off loader A, Figs. 3, 4 and 5.-The off loading is done by suction pads 29 carried by the pistons of cylinders 11, the cylinders being carried by table 10 mounted to rotate about stationary shaft 1. The suction is led to its suction pad 29 from central shaft 2 via pipe 13 valve 14 and pipe 17. The suction pads and cylinders 11 are mounted in pairs on the rotating table 10 so that two bricks are grasped from press table B at one time, the operation of the piston within each cylinder 11 causing each pad 29 to be moved down into engagement with a brick on table B. Table 10 is then driven by pin 21 mounted on plate 19 driven from the press table B. As table 10 moves through one step cylinder 11 is operated to cause each pad 29 to pivot under the restraint of a rod 39 such that each pair of bricks is laid on belt C with the bricks in axial alignment and having been rotated through 90 degrees. This movement is assisted by each pair of cylinders 11 being connected to a plate 30 which is moved inwards and outwards by cam 33 via two rollers 31, 32. Brake 47 serves to stabilize the off loader at each point when it is stationary. Belt C. Figs. 7 and 9.-Belt C is driven stepby-step by means of cylinder 51 operating via lever 55 and ratchet 56. Each pair of cylinders 11 of the off loader A deposits a pair of bricks as shown in Fig. 9 on belt C. The bricks are aligned relatively to the edges of the belt by plates 63 operated by cylinders 66, the plates and cylinders being carried by carriage 64 running on rails 65. The carriage is moved forward along the belt by means of cylinder 70 so that an end plate 68 engages the bricks and pushes them forward into engagement with the previous pair of bricks. The end plate 68 is also movable in vertical direction by means of cylinder 69. In this way the successive pairs of bricks are positioned so as to touch each other. Should the carriage 64 not move the predetermined amount forward to displace the bricks, then a switch is arranged to cause the belt to move forward an additional amount so as to compensate. Grab D. Figs. 1 and 2.-The bricks fed by belt C are engaged by fingers carried by the grab. The grab D is carried by carriage 89 running on rails 90 which permit the grab to be displaced along the rails so that the bricks can be loaded on to trolley E for further treatment. Switches permit the bricks to be built up on trolley E in pyramid shape for ease of entry into an oven. Fingers 80 of grab D. Fig. 10.-Each finger 80 of the grab is pivoted at 83. It is caused to engage a brick in pairs by means of rubber tube 85 which is expanded pneumatically against the influence of spring 84.
