摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To gently compensate an offset in a belt, and also to obviate any damage to the belt due to abrasion and excessive stress when compensating each offset of two projections formed on an inner periphery in and around both the ends of the belt. SOLUTION: In this belt driving device which makes each torque in two first rings 5a installed at both the ends of two drive-roller turning shafts 2a convert into a rectilinear motion in time of an offset in a belt 1, and shifting a tension roller 5 via a transmission means whereby belt tension is slacked up, performing a belt shifting compensation, two projections 1a formed on an inner periphery at both the ends of the belt comes into contact with two second rings 5b at the outside of the first rings 5a and at a position adjacent to these first rings, whereby the second rings 5b are rotated, therefore each torque in these second rings 5b is constituted so as to be transmitted to the first rings 5a by means of frictional sliding motion between both these first and second rings 5a and 5b.
