A synthetic friction pendulum type earthquake-proof apparatus is provided to restore a structure to the original location after an earthquake by separating a structure from an earthquake ground motion when an earthquake occurs, and supporting the load of a structure stably and reducing the width of an earthquake ground motion. A synthetic friction pendulum type earthquake-proof apparatus includes a bottom plate(2) fixed to the bottom plane of a structure by an anchor bolt(1), and a ground motion reduction unit(4) built in base plates(3) fixed to a foundation plane(100b) of a structure. The ground motion reduction unit comprises an upper concave plate connected with the bottom plate integrally, a convex spherical bearing(6) contacting to a concave groove of the upper concave plate, a guide bearing sheet(7) fixed to the base plate where the convex spherical bearing is settled, and a shear key(8) and a negative reaction prevention device mounted to the circumference of the upper concave plate. |
