A polyester release film is provided to improve the cohesive power between a polyester base film and a silicon release layer by optimizing the contact angle of a silicon release fluid coated on the polyester base film to 30-60. A polyester release film comprises a polyester base film and a silicon release layer. The silicon release layer is manufactured by coating one side of the base film with silicon release fluid containing a polyether-modified polydimethyl siloxane. When the silicon release fluid is dropped on the base film, the contact angle (A) of the release fluid satisfies the chemical formula: (30<=A<=).
