HOLLOW TONER AND PROCESS FOR PREPARING THE SAME

A hollow toner, a method for preparing the hollow toner, and an image formation apparatus are provided to improve fixation even at a low energy and at a low voltage. A hollow toner comprises a hollow sphere whose inside is empty; and an outer layer which surrounds the inner hollow part and comprises a polymer, a wax and a pigment. Preferably the outer layer comprises further at least one selected from a charge control agent, a chain transfer agent and a releasing agent. Preferably the hollow toner has a volume average diameter of 2-20 micrometers, and the outer layer has a thickness of 0.1-5 micrometers.
