A method for preventing use of copied MS(Magnetic Stripe) card, and an ATM(Automatic Teller Machine) and a financial system using the same are provided to prevent the use and an accident related to the copied MS card by comparing MS data and a card image with registered data. A card reader(20) reads MS data of a card and scans a card image. An input unit(16) receives transaction information including a password of the card. A communication module(30) transmits the MS data, the card image, and transaction information of the card to a financial host(100), and receives a processing result from the financial host. A controller(50) controls use of the card based on the received processing result. A file converter(40) converts the card image into a data file. |
