A method for protecting contents and a method for processing information are provided not to apply the revocation process of specific contents by using revocable application information when transmitting the contents that any user is able to see without the restriction of a device or a domain. A CMP module includes an acquisition module(10), a consumption module(40), an export module(50), a storage module(20) and a processing module(30). The acquisition module, the processing module and the export module have a point concept in which the connection to the outside exists, and the storage module and the processing module have internal entity concept. The acquisition module converts the contents and the content related information flowing from the outside to a CMP system into a format which can be used in the CMP system. The acquisition module generates a CMP content license for the use of the CMP content by using CMPI information and content related information received from the outside. The CMP content license is bound to be related to corresponding CMP content. At this time, the CMP content license can be embedded to the CMP content or can exist separated from the CMP content.
