<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method, a device and a program for designing a high quality supporting block for sufficiently obtaining supporting force by verifying supporting force after the supporting block is completed, and editing work data based on a verification result by introducing a simulation process of supporting force in a design process of the supporting block. <P>SOLUTION: Data showing a shape where an electronic component is mounted on a surface are created from substrate design data. Design data of the supporting block having a recessed shape for avoiding the mounted electronic component are automatically created based on said data. The shape of the supporting block, whose design is finally completed, is outputted as a design drawing or data following it and NC data for working the supporting block while design data are edited, and a state where the substrate is overhung is simulated with respect to the shape after editing and a result is displayed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
