PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize setting a monitoring area at both sides of an automatic door by one optical sensor, where movement of a human and movement of an automatic door can be distinguished. SOLUTION: In an optical sensor for an automatic door that includes a light emitting part 10 which radiates light to a monitoring area with a prescribed area that is set from the upper position of an automatic door to a floor face and a light receiving part 20 that receives the reflection light from the monitoring area, the light emitting part 10 is provided with a plurality of light emitting devices 120 that irradiate spot light into the monitoring area with a prescribed arrangement through the same monocular lens 11 and herewith the light receiving part 20 is provided with a plurality of light receiving devices 220 so that one light receiving device corresponds to one of light emitting devices 12. Then a detected substance can be detected in every spot unit. |
