<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ignition device for an internal combustion engine, capable of improving design flexibility that can cope with the design change of a mounting part by performing the design change of an independent casing. <P>SOLUTION: This ignition device is equipped with a casing 8, multiple closed magnetic circuit cores with a rectangular shape that are integrated in this casing 8, multiple coil parts composed of primary and secondary coils, arranged by surrounding excitation magnetic parts that are the edges of these closed magnetic cores.
