A machine for digging the soil comprises blades 5 mounted on arms 4 attached to stub axles 3 which are rotatable in a casing 2 which is itself rotatable on a shaft 1. To prevent the dug soil from slipping off the blade prematurely, each blade is provided with a raised rim 8 which holds the dug soil in position until it falls by gravity. To support the cut soil as it is turned over each blade is also provided with a strip 9 which may be resilient. |
