An inverter for a liquid crystal display backlight is provided to improve the lighting property of the lamp by being driven in a burst max condition for an initial operation. A capacitor(410) is connected to the gate of the FET(Field Effect Transistor)(430). The capacitor is slowly charged when power is applied to an inverter. A resistance(420) is connected to the gate of the FET. An FET is operated with the generated voltage by generating voltage drop while charging current. The FET compulsorily sets the minus(-) shift of the comparison unit to the low state by being operated by the voltage generated in the resistance. A diode(440) is connected in parallel with resistance. Over voltage is prevented and the FET is protected. |
