A camera hand shaking correction method and an apparatus thereof are provided to minimize image degradation without hindering convenience of a user by changing an imaging algorithm. A proper exposure time for preventing hand shaking is calculated by using an auto iris control algorithm during an imaging standby mode(215,220). If a photographing signal is inputted through a photographing button, imaging operations are performed several times according to the exposure time(235). The amount of hand shaking during each imaging operation is detected(245). Images as much as the number of preset necessary images among the photographed images are stored as result images according to the order where the hand shaking amount is less(255,265).
