The panel (1) has fibrous core layer (9) treated with thermo-hardening resin e.g. urea, where the panel is curved with a decorative layer. The fibrous core layer includes a set of core layer to determine characteristics of the panel, where the fibrous core layer is made of different fibers e.g. wood. The fibrous core layer is constructed based on a three dimensional profile (10, 11) by a computer model, with selective thickness and/or density. Laminated structures (2-7) enhance fire-resistance and/or water repellence and/or scratch resistance of the panel. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a curved panel.
