A relief pattern is provided on at least part of the outlet end face (15) of the casing (2) and/or on at least part of the outlet end face (14) of one or both of the rotors (8, 9). This pattern is designed to form a film seal between the outlet end faces of the casing and rotors, comprising the liquid which is injected into the compressor. The casing houses a rotor chamber (3) with a gas inlet (4) and an outlet (5) for a compressed gas, this outlet being connected to the chamber via an outlet port. Mounted inside the chamber are a male rotor and female rotor each comprising a rotor body (11) mounted on an axle (10). Each rotor body has an outlet end face located opposite an outlet end face on the casing.
