Use of a NO scavenger or an inhibitor or antagonist for the production of a pharmaceutical composition for the treatment of migraine or other vascular headaches is described, as well as a method for the treatm ent of migraine or other vascular headaches in mammals, which comprises administering to said mammal an effective amount for said treatmen t of a NO scavenger or a specific inhibitor or antagonis t.
