A safety net installing apparatus is provided to enable people to jump down safely from a building when a fire occurs in the building by making a safety net unfolded automatically, so as to minimize loss of human life. A safety net installing apparatus comprises: a safety net(10) to catch a person jumping off a building in fire safely, an inner end of which is fixed on the building; supports on both sides(20) coming in and out the building in its longitudinal direction; a front cover plate(40) connecting marginal ends of the supports on both sides, where the outer end of the safety net is fixed; and a support driving device moving each of the supports forward or backward, which comprises racks, each of which is established on the lower side of the each support, a guide(30), a pinion gear(51) combined with the rack on the support; and a driving motor(50) fixed inside the building. |
