A heat pump type large-volume air conditioner is provided to reduce the power consumption by applying a heat exchanger reduced in thickness. A heat pump type large-volume air conditioner comprises an air conditioner case(20), a heat exchanger(H.E), a supply blower(22), a discharge blower(27) and a damper(D). The heat exchanger is divided into two or more heat exchange regions, where the heat exchange regions are arranged so that the air contact surface is inclined in the air flow direction. The angle between the air flow direction and the air contact surface is 50°.
