An industrial flat flame type burner used in steel manufacture is provided to minimize the size of the furnace by forming flat flame stably even when excess air ratio is less than 20%, thus reducing heat loss and pollutant such as NOx. A flat flame type burner(10) includes a burner head(100) jetting flame and a media case(200). The burner head comprises a baffle(110) in which a fuel injector(112) and a plurality of first and second air injectors are formed, a fuel nozzle(103) arranged on the rear side of the baffle in order to supply fuel to the fuel injector, a cooling air nozzle(105) surrounding the fuel nozzle in order to move cooling air of normal temperature to the fuel injector, and a preheated air supply part for supplying preheated air to the first and second air injectors. The media case including a heat reservoir(210) absorbs the waste heat of exhaust gas of the burner head, pre-heats the air using the waste heat, and supplies the pre-heated ultra-high temperature air to the burner head. |
