<p>A communication system using a mobile communication terminal and a method thereof are provided to offer contents in which packet size is adjusted according to an ACK message window size information when downloading specific contents. A communication method using a mobile communication terminal comprises the following steps. The mobile communication terminal requests an initial connection to the wireless Internet from a gateway unit through a mobile communication network(302). The gateway unit measures the time of arrival of the ACK message according to the initial connection request(304), and then compares the arrival time of the measured ACK message with a reference arrival time previously stored(306). The gateway unit selectively routes to the first initial access server or the second initial access server, and then requests GUI-based initial connection data or text-based initial connection data(308). The first initial access server or the second initial access server extracts corresponding initial connection data in response to the request(310), and then transmits the extracted contents to the gateway unit(320, 322). The gateway unit transmits the contents in which packet size is adjusted to the mobile communication terminal through the mobile communication network(326).</p> |
