A driving unit of welding equipment is provided to insert the whole gun that is small, light and compact into the rotary shaft by certainly performing rotation and stopping of a pressurizing shaft without increasing diameter of hole in a rotary shaft of a motor while maintaining a short total length of the welding equipment as a whole. As welding equipment including a pressurizing shaft(9) which is driven by a motor(1), and of which a part is drawn in the motor, a driving unit of the welding equipment comprises: a rotary shaft(5) of the motor which is formed as a hollow shaft; a screw shaft(7) fixed to the rotary shaft; and a nut(10) screw-adjusted with the screw shaft and installed on the pressurizing shaft. The pressurizing shaft is used as a ball spline shaft, and a portion or an entire portion of a counter ball spline bearing(11) is housed in the rotary shaft.
