A terminal and a system for providing an automatic study contents downloading service using local area wireless communication and a method for the same are provided to allow an educating institution to reduce time for finding review data about a lecture. A mobile communication terminal automatically downloads lecture review contents and transmits an entering confirmation response message and the leaving confirmation response message after receiving the entering confirmation request message and the leaving confirmation request message. An educating institution terminal transmits the lecture review contents providing require message including lecture information and extracting the lecture information from the lecture information DB. A contents offer server transmits to the mobile communication terminal with push type after extracting the lecture review contents from the study contents DB.
