The roll printing apparatus and roll printing method using the same is provided to perform the process of printing the coating material pattern remaining in the printing roll on the substrate in the single the process. The chiche(3) and the substrate(4) are mounted on the respective chiche transfer apparatus(1) and substrate transport apparatus(2). The chiche and substrate are transferred at the same time as the printing roll(5) rotates. The coating material is coated on the printing roll by the cotter(7). The coating material of the printing roll is transferred in the patterned portion of the chiche. The process that the residue coating material pattern of the printing roll is transferred in substrate is performed at the same time.
