A digital broadcasting transmitter, a receiver and stream processing methods thereof are provided to transceive the streams after properly inserting plural additional data streams into a normal data stream, thereby more efficiently and stably providing a digital broadcasting service. A digital broadcasting transmitter comprises a multiplexer(100) and an exciter(200). By continuously and alternatively inserting plural additional data streams on a normal data stream structure, the multiplexer configures a transport stream. The exciter processes the transport stream so that the plural additional data streams can be separately arranged in plural areas configuring at least one transmission unit.
