A light guide panel of a backlight unit with a step is provided to improve appearance quality of the light guide panel by removing a seen phenomenon and to obtain uniform brightness. A light guide panel includes an optical source, a reflective cover surrounding the optical source, and an overlap unit which is overlapped with the reflective cover and is installed in front of the optical source. A step(1) is formed in the rear surface of the reflective surface of the light guide panel. The step is formed in the overlap unit. A step groove(12) is formed in the step. The step groove is deeper or shallower than a groove(11). The step is formed within 5 mm of the overlap unit.
