A home delivery service system is provided to put first and second commodities respectively ordered at different points of time together on a delivery route and delivery the first and second commodities together to a recipient so as to decrease distribution cost. A home delivery service method includes a step(S11) in which a home delivery server informs a terminal of a recipient of the location of a first ordered commodity, a step(S12) in which the movement of the first ordered commodity is stopped at a predetermined location when an interrupt instruction from the recipient is inputted to the home delivery server, and a step(S13) in which the home delivery server delivers the first ordered commodity together with a second ordered commodity to the recipient when the second ordered commodity arrives at the predetermined location of the first ordered commodity. |
