A method for assessing the criteria of the prenatal development of the duodenum in the third trimester provides for macro- and micropreparation and morphometry. The significant increase in eight dimensions is detected: the diameters and the lengths of the superior, descending, inferior, and ascending divisions. The multiparameter regression analysis is applied. The multiparameter regression function of pyramidal form with its apex oriented upwards (р<0.05) is the basis for assessing the second period of accelerated development of the organ (months 8-10) in contrast to the decelerating period (month 7), which is characterized by the smoothed diagram. |
