A method for producing coenzyme Q10 is provided to reduce the polymerization process number from 7 steps to 4 steps. A method for producing coenzyme Q1 indicated as the chemical formula 1 comprises (a) a step for obtaining a compound of the chemical formula 4 by reacting a compound of the chemical formula 2 and a compound of the chemical formula 3; (b) a step for obtaining a compound of the chemical formula 6 by reacting a compound of the chemical formula 4 and a compound of the chemical formula 5 in the presence of a base; (c) a step for obtaining a compound of the chemical formula 7 by performing the desulfonation reaction of the compound of the chemical formula 6; and (d) a step for adding nitrate diluted with acetonitrile to the compound of the chemical formula 7 in the reaction solvent, and adding an oxidizer.
