A waiting customer guidance character service system and a service method thereof for receiving a waiting number on internet are provided to reduce a waiting time in a guest room when a client visits the guest room. A client visits a guest room in order to solve the request task(S1). The client issues a waiting number through a waiting number issuing apparatus equipped in the guest room(S2). The center operation controller of the customer management apparatus computes the waiting customer number according to the waiting number and the short message received from client input a telephone number. A waiting sequence number and a waiting time are calculated according to set program(S3). A controller compares the number stored in the memory apparatus. The character in which the waiting sequence is included is text message service provided through the calling party to the target customer(S5).
