A method for steelmaking in main open-hearth furnace involves charging of scrap metal, limestone, return converter slag and other materials, which contain lime, oxidizing agents, melting and finishing. Lime of fine fraction (less than ) is used as lime containing addition agent in periods of finishing and/or charging. At that quantity of lime of fine fraction, which is introduced to the furnace separately or in the mixture with the other slag forming materials, which contain lime, is chosen with the purpose of getting ratio between fine fraction lime masses and a number of other slag-forming materials, containing lime, which are introduced into the furnace in periods of finishing and/or charging in the range of 1:(0.5-20.0). The consumption of combustible and ventilating air in these periods of melting in fine fraction of lime addition moments is equal not more than 10 % of normative working expenses. |
