A compatible system of a digital-contents copyright is provided to make a second device use the contents of a first device through a second right object when the first and second devices interwork with each other by storing first and second right objects at one of the first and second devices to which different DRM(Digital Rights Management) systems are applied. A first device(10) reproduces first contents according to a first DRM system, and a second device(20) reproduces second contents according to a second DRM system. A first sever(30) issues a second right object according to a second DRM system if an authentication of the first device is registered and first contents, a first right object and a second device's authentication are registered. A second sever(40) transmits the registered authentication of the second device to the first sever.
