An integrity guarantee system of contents and metadata and a method thereof for synchronizing the contents and the metadata are provided to store a contents log reflecting the change of the contents and store the metadata in a database system. A contents change process module(130) performs the change of contents such as production, movement, copy, and delete of the contents. The contents change process module changes the contents change log and the contents change list reflecting the contents change process. The contents change process module stores the changed contents in a file system(110) and stores the changed contents log in a database system(120). The contents change process module transmits the contents change list to the meta data process module(140).
