A refrigerator is provided to improve user convenience by controlling the time contents are ejected and various functions of the dispenser according to the operation number corresponding to operation of the dispenser lever. A refrigerator having a body comprises a dispenser which includes an opening provided on one side of the body, an outlet guiding the contents ejected from the inside of the body to the opening, a lever(153) which is provided on the opening in order to input the exhaust state, and an opening and closing part(154) which is provided on the outlet to open and close the outlet; a sensing unit(190) which senses a first operation number corresponding to the lever operation time within the set reference time and a second operation number corresponding to the lever operation time over the set reference time; and a controller(200) which controls the opening and closing of the opening and closing part based on the sensed result. |
