A shut off valve and assembling method thereof is provided to demonstrate stable operation performance with a bit power and increase precision degree of a rotor core on partition open end by setting a radial gap lowest. A shut-off valve comprises a stator, a partition(66) made of metal, shaped like a pot free of a penetration hole; a sealing member sealing the inner and o of the partition; a rotator(71) installed to be opposed to the stator inside the partition; a rotational axle(69), made of metal, installed onto the rotator; a cover(72) made of metal, having a hole into which the rotational axle passes; rolling bearings(74,76) for a radial and a thrust, supporting the cover and the axial load of the rotator; a rectilinear mechanism installed at the rotational axle protruded from a hole of the cover to the channel; and a valve mechanism installed on the rectilinear mechanism.
